Life was good. Yearly vacations were a tradition, family meals filled with laughter, and his parents offered a steady presence of support.
But good things don't always last, do they?
The global recession hit, their family business crumbled. Banks turned them away, and unfair insurance fees filled their home with dread.
The stress tore their dreams apart and became too much for the father to handle.
A void grew within the boy, his heart filled with hopelessness. "The world is a cruel place and it wounds the weak", he thought.
So, imagine how that young boy felt when he noticed startups bringing fair, accessible solutions—a chance for support, a chance for growth, a chance for real change!
That minute-long Super Bowl commercial in his living room shattered the bleak view he held of the world growing up.
February 2020, he started to look deeper into fintechs; seeing insurtechs uplift the disadvantaged and the overlooked, robo-advisors eliminating mountains of debt that once crushed thousands of dreams and ambitions.
At that moment, a deep-seated wonder ignited in him– a passion for building a future filled with opportunity and a good life for all
I started Orians & Company to be deeply invested in these purpose-driven fintech firms by helping them build trust and attract and convert customers through inspirational and resonant branding
